1. Introduction

This policy explains what information BeVisibleHQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. BeVisibleHQ provides AI-assisted business visibility and marketing tools, including SEO, AEO and GEO research, competitor intelligence, website and content creation, advertising creative, social publishing, and related analytics and automation features. By using our service, you consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your information as described here.

2. Who We Are

We are the operator of BeVisibleHQ and, for the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

3. Information We Collect

3.1. Account information. Your email address and password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google instead.

3.2. Content you provide. Your business name, description, website, brand, product, competitor, and campaign details that you submit for analysis or content generation.

3.3. Billing information. Your subscription plan, billing interval, subscription status, credit balance, and the customer and subscription identifiers issued by our payment processor, Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code -- those are collected directly by Stripe.

3.4. Domain and registrant information. If you purchase a domain through us, we collect the registrant contact information required by the registry (name, address, email, phone) and submit it to our registrar partner, Vercel, to complete and maintain the registration on your behalf.

3.5. Usage information. Pages and features you use, actions you take in the app, and technical information such as your browser type and IP address.

3.6. Support correspondence. Messages and account details you send us through email or any in-app contact form.

4. How We Use Your Information

4.1. To provide requested SEO, AEO, GEO and competitor analysis, website content, ad creative, social content, and other marketing outputs, including sending the business details you provide to our AI generation providers.

4.2. To create and administer your account, process payments, and manage your credit balance and subscription.

4.3. To purchase, configure DNS for, and renew a domain you buy through us, and to provision a forwarding business email address on that domain.

4.4. To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.

4.5. To detect, investigate and prevent fraud or abuse of our Services.

4.6. To understand how the product is used so we can improve and troubleshoot it.

4.7. To send you service messages and, where applicable, billing and renewal notices.

4.8. Legal bases (EEA and UK users). We rely on performance of our contract with you for items 4.1 to 4.4 and 4.7; our legitimate interests in operating and securing a viable service for items 4.5 and 4.6.

5. AI Processing

Generating website copy, ad creative, research summaries, and other requested marketing content requires sharing the business details you provide with our AI generation provider, accessed through the Vercel AI Gateway, with a local model as a fallback when the gateway is unavailable. We do not authorize these providers to use your content to train their models beyond what is necessary to fulfil the generation you requested. Because this content leaves our systems, please avoid entering sensitive personal information about third parties into the content fields.

6. Cookies and Session Data

We use a session cookie set by our authentication system to keep you signed in. This is essential and the service will not function without it. We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on the application.

7. Third Parties We Share Information With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information with the following categories of service providers, each of which is contractually bound to use it only to provide services to us:

We may additionally disclose your information where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

8. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and the providers listed in section 7 process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal information will be transferred outside your home jurisdiction, relying on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard where required.

9. Data Retention

9.1. We retain your account, project, and domain order information while your account remains open and, for billing and tax records, for the period required by law.

9.2. Deleting your account removes your authentication record, projects, and generated content from our database. It does not cancel an active domain registration already completed with the registrar, which you must manage directly, nor does it remove records our payment processor is legally required to retain.

10. Data Protection and Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, database access is restricted so users can only reach their own records, and traffic to our service is encrypted in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator without undue delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11. Your Rights

11.1. You may access and update your account information at any time while signed in.

11.2. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request deletion of your account and associated data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

11.3. If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have handled your personal information improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request its deletion, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Submit a request by emailing [email protected].

13. Children's Privacy

BeVisibleHQ is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will close the account and delete that information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of BeVisibleHQ after changes are posted signifies your acceptance of those changes.

15. Contact Us
